As a dedicated and creative professional, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our Sales & Marketing team as an Events and Marketing Coordinator.

We are committed to making every guest and team member feel welcome and valued. Our hotel is located in the heart of Brisbane's South Bank, a vibrant lifestyle and cultural destination.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing conference proposals and contracts, coordinating conferences and events from enquiry to post-event follow-up, hosting familiarisation and site inspection activities, achieving sales targets relative to the conference and events department, assisting in telemarketing and client management, producing conference collateral materials, managing the hotel's digital footprint and online presence, and leading weekly Banquets Event Order meetings.

  • Experience in event management roles
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in event management
  • Creative flair and ability to generate ideas
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
