Job Title: Project Engineer

We are recruiting a Project Engineer for our Parramatta based site. As a Project Engineer, you will play strong role in preparing tenders and bids for projects of all sizes, switchboard design, customer support and technical projects for both commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities include analysing drawings, plans and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labour estimates. You will also be designing switchboards based on client specifications, adhering to AS/NZS 61439.2: 2016 for Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies.

A successful candidate must have certifications in Electrical Design, Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and at least 3 years' experience in similar role with strong background in switchboard design and tendering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysing drawings, plans and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labour estimates
  • Designing switchboards based on client specifications, adhering to AS/NZS 61439.2: 2016 for Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies
  • Compiling and submitting tenders accurately and in alignment with both customer and company requirements
  • Producing technical documentation such as construction drawings, material take-offs, product data sheets and other essential documents
  • Offering exceptional customer support and working closely with sales team to achieve successful project outcomes
Requirements:
  • Certifications in Electrical Design
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in similar role with strong background in switchboard design and tendering
