Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

The Role

This is a leadership role based at our plant in Smithfield, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise daily operations of the electrical department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the electrical department.
  • Ensure ongoing electrical support to the production team and upkeep of machinery and equipment minimising downtime.
  • React quickly to breakdowns.
  • Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines.
  • Oversee and support installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety and HACCP.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current unrestricted A Class Electrical Licence.
  • Supervisory leadership experience.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Previous maintenance experience in a fixed plant and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Automated machinery, PLC's, Drives and HMI's.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
  • Adherence to OHS policies and procedures.
