Job Title: Night Auditor

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the night operations of a hotel and providing a warm welcome experience to our guests overnight. You will also ensure the general safety and security of guests, staff, and the property at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming late arrival guests and farewelling early departures
  • Managing daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and completing revenue postings
  • Preparing and distributing reports to inter departments
  • Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guests
  • Collating paperwork for departures and coordinating with the Front Office team
  • Providing supervision and support to the Front Office team and other departments when required
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring an effective handover of issues is conveyed at the start and end of each shift between Night Audit and Reception
  • Maximising guest satisfaction as well as the property's safety and security
  • Attending to guests' requests efficiently and effectively to ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Assisting with and covering valet parking as required
Requirements:
  • Australian drivers licence and confidence in driving all types of vehicles
  • Able to work alone during night hours
  • Exceptional customer service & communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • A hands-on team player with a can-do attitude
  • Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily
  • Willingsness to take ownership and have the initiative to carry out different tasks as required
  • Good understanding of finance and accounting practices
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
