Job Overview

The Service Owner role involves leading the delivery of data platforms for consumer finance and cash & transactional banking teams.

This position requires managing complex programs, bridging stakeholders and technical teams, and focusing on relationship building, driving change through technology and data solutions, resilience, and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead data platform delivery on Azure, AWS, and/or GCP technologies with practical experience.
  • Apply data governance and program governance in a corporate setting.
  • Drive initiatives with a collaborative approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage multiple scrum teams, programs, and initiatives in parallel with effective prioritisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and coach teams to maximise value delivery.
  • Operate in an Agile environment, leading distributed teams with diverse styles and capabilities.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence; exposure to data technologies and developments in data and AI.
Skill Requirements
  • Educate stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Deliver end-to-end ownership with clear roadmaps and tracking of success metrics.
  • Work within a scrum team to apply product vision and deliver incremental customer value.
  • Translate business requirements into value-driven features and stories; monitor outcomes and health metrics.
  • Prioritise the product backlog to deliver maximum value aligned with product strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master to optimise team outputs and mentor team members.
  • Provide hands-on subject matter expertise in the Service Owner and Product Owner domain.
