Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • A current and valid Working With Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard
  • Proven leadership and management skills to inspire and motivate a team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with families and staff

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a previous Service Manager or Centre Director role
  • Skills to address and resolve conflicts or challenges among staff or with families
  • Experience in budgeting, financial planning and resource management
  • Ability to utilize relevant software for management and communication purposes
