Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Service Manager to join our team at Quinns Beach. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of educators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care services to children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality education and care services
- Develop and implement centre policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage centre operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and the broader community
- Ensure the centre remains compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
- Current and valid Working With Children Check
- First Aid Certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team of educators
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
- Experience in a previous Service Manager, Centre Director, or Centre Manager role
- Skills to address and resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise among staff or with families
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and resource management
- Ability to utilize relevant software for management, communication, and reporting purposes
