Job Title

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and growth of palliative care services. As an Operations Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across all palliative care services.

  • Management of operational, financial, administrative, and workforce components
  • Contribution to palliative care services strategic plan and oversight of associated operational action plan
  • Delivery of high-quality evidence-based care, flexible and responsive to patient/client needs and demand management imperatives
  • Leadership in service integration and strategic development opportunities in research, training, and clinical care
  • Creation of a culture of continuous improvement in operational efficiency and quality of care

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary level healthcare qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification in healthcare or business administration (desirable)
  • Extensive experience in palliative care service provision
  • Highly developed leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to engage people with a clear vision and outstanding communications skills
  • Ability to shape and achieve strategic and operational goals
