Snowy Mountains Electrical Site Supervisor Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have the skills and qualifications necessary to lead a team in delivering electrical and instrumentation installations in industrial settings.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in leading teams, ensuring excellent safety standards, and maintaining high-quality work. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively and maintain client relationships is essential.
We offer competitive salaries, commensurate with experience. The estimated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.
This role involves working on-site at various power stations and infrastructure sites throughout the Snowy Mountains region. Meal allowances, accommodation, and transport to the site each day will be provided.

About the RoleThis Electrical Site Supervisor opportunity is based at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, where you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver safe, productive, and quality electrical and instrumentation installations.
- Lead a team to deliver electrical and instrumentation installations in industrial settings
- Report project status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope, and quality when required
- Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology
- Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities
- Oversee PHE apprentices and ensure they are consistently learning and improving their standard of work
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience leading a team made up of electricians, other trades, apprentices, and non-trades people on industrial sites
- A proven track record of maintaining excellent safety standards through leading by example
- The ability to lead a highly productive team to meet project and company objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain long-term client relationships
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams and Excel
- Experience in using and interpreting project scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)
- Previous experience in job estimating and quoting
- Quality Management experience
- Budget management experience
We require applicants to hold the following liceneses and certifications:
- Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
- NSW Electrical Licence
- High risk work licence with WP Class
- Working at Heights certificate within the past 2 years
- LVR/CPR certificate within the past 12 months
- White Construction Card
- Unrestricted C Class Drivers Licence
- National Police Clearance
