About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team in Port Hedland, WA.

  • This is a permanent full-time position with a 14/7 roster, flying from Perth to Port Hedland.
Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating diaphragm and mono pumps to transfer bulk liquids, treating water with chemical reagents, and using lab-based equipment for liquid analysis.

You will also be required to manage sludge removal from tanks, separate moisture from oil and oil from water, and work with engineering and technical teams to achieve processing and product goals.

Maintaining SDS folders, load in and out records, treatment records, analysis records, etc… is also a key part of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Forklift Licence
  • Experience on Excavator or front-end loader (advantageous)
  • Experience in processing and/or wastewater treatment facilities (advantageous)
  • Chemical handling skills
  • Mechanical aptitude & proficiency with hand tools
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others
