Electrical Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team and play a key role in managing electrical packages on our infrastructure projects.

About the Role
  • Manage electrical packages on the project, ensuring work undertaken complies with the scope and meets operational requirements.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, while supervising electrical discipline work to meet quality, cost, and time constraints.
  • Monitor progress and identify potential problems in respect of budgets, schedules, engineering standards, and risks.
  • Interface with clients and cultivate positive relations to achieve effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • 4+ years relevant industry experience in a similar role within the mining, construction, or infrastructure sectors is necessary.
  • Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in working on engineering projects within the mining industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience interfacing with clients and strong stakeholder management skills are also important.
  • Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver work within agreed budget, timeframe, and customer requirements are essential.
