Electrical Infrastructure Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Infrastructure Planning Specialist to join our Maintenance Planning team at our Gold Mine Processing Plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with maintenance coordinators and superintendents to develop executable work packages for industrial processing equipment.
  • Support the development and implementation of effective asset management strategies through proactive maintenance planning for all equipment and associated systems.
  • Improve workforce productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through quality planning.
  • Act as a key contact and liaison person between Maintenance, Operations, and other supported departments ensuring Maintenance is provided as a timely, efficient, and quality service.
  • Support operations in balancing their need for daily output with their need for equipment reliability through preventive & predictive maintenance.
  • Optimize preventive maintenance and condition monitoring schedules and procedures.
  • Plan and prepare all maintenance execution documents (Work Orders, specifications, procedures/instructions, purchase orders, service contracts, task schedules etc.).
  • Develop maintenance standard jobs and weekly maintenance schedules.
  • Chair scheduling meetings aligned to meeting agendas and ensure seamless communication between stakeholders.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers for the provision of supplies and services.
  • Maintain master data integrity by ensuring accuracy of SAP catalogue and Bill of Materials.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Maintenance, and other departments to continually improve Work Management Processes within the business.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in planning and asset management, preferably with SAP.
  • Experience in maintaining industrial processing equipment and related systems.
  • Background in the mining industry, with knowledge of gold mine processing plants.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling software and tools.
  • Strong electrical background and understanding of electrical infrastructure.
  • A valid WA 'C' Class Driver's License.
