About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. As a Youth Support Worker with Churches of Christ, you will provide support and guidance to young people in need of a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and act as a positive role model for young people, helping them build positive social skills and relationships.
  • Assist young people in building their physical and emotional well-being, including helping with daily tasks and providing emotional support.
  • Administer program records and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal requirements and service policy.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the welfare of children and young people, and who has the skills and experience to make a positive impact in their lives. You will have a Certificate IV in a relevant child welfare course, and experience working in residential care or with young people in a child protection or community service context.

Requirements

  • Driver's Licence, P2 or above
  • National Police Check, Blue Card (Working with Children), and Licensed Care Services (LCS)
