Financial Operations Manager Job

This role encompasses a critical intersection of finance, systems, and business improvement. Ideal candidates will be hands-on with system capabilities, building reports and dashboards, and leading key finance projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver finance projects including standardising the chart of accounts across entities, implementing expense automation, and building/enhancing reporting dashboards in MYOB Advanced/Excel.
  • Supporting expense management tool rollout and developing clear, insightful management reporting for boards, senior leaders, and business units.
  • Build and maintain reporting models and formulas that enhance budgeting, forecasting, and financial visibility.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to understand requirements and translate into reporting outputs.
About You

We seek strong performers with a track record of delivering insightful reporting and dashboards for senior stakeholders, experience with ERP/finance systems, and advanced Excel skills. Formal accounting training is required.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis or similar roles.
  • Strong communication skills – confident engaging business unit owners and translating finance into plain language.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise, and drive projects forward without waiting for instruction.

The salary range for this role is A$130,000 - A$150,000 per year.
