Financial Strategist

The role of Financial Strategist plays a pivotal part in supporting the organisation's strategic and operational objectives.

About the Role

This position ensures the effective delivery of financial analysis responsibilities, enabling the organisation to meet its targets while upholding compliance with policies, legislative obligations, and regulatory requirements.

As an active contributor to the team, the role drives continuous improvement in financial processes and practices. It provides high-quality business insights and management accounting expertise to inform and guide decision-making across the organisation.

The Financial Strategist closely collaborates with the Executive Leadership Team, building strong working relationships and delivering commercial value through analysis, financial acumen, and strategic support.

Essential Requirements:

  • CA/CPA qualified with current professional membership
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Finance or Economics and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • 3+ years' experience in a commercial and/or professional services environment
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have relevant commercial experience working within large, complex organisations and a strong customer focus.

Demonstrated skills and experience in building strong, collaborative partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure you become a trusted advisor.

You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to analyse and interpret the financial results of a business.

Contributing to maintaining robust governance and fit-for-purpose policies and processes is also a key responsibility.
