We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Planning Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our transportation planning group, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that shape the future of urban mobility.

About the Role
  • We are looking for an experienced consultant who can develop studies to assess current and future traffic patterns, travel behaviour, and system performance.
  • You will be responsible for utilising advanced modelling software to simulate and analyse transportation and land use scenarios.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to integrate transportation models into broader urban planning efforts and economic analysis.
  • Ability to develop and refine mathematical models to accurately represent complex transportation systems is required.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, engineering, economics or other quantitative degrees.
  • Experience in the use of various government models used in Queensland and NSW.
  • Strong collaboration skills, having worked across multi-disciplinary teams involved in infrastructure planning studies, technical reports, and/or business cases.
  • Previous experience in Strategic Transport Modelling for government and/or the private sector.
