About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation planning principles and practices, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will work closely with transport operators, data suppliers, and internal business areas to ensure the timely capture and update of accurate information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and respond to operator proposals to improve timetable performance
  • BUILD STRONG WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH TRANSPORT OPERATORS AND DATA SUPPLIERS TO ENSURE TIMELY CAPTURE AND UPDATE OF ACCURATE INFORMATION
  • Assist operators with data issues and identify remedial actions to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Ensure data integrity between different data sources to minimize risk of data issues impacting system continuity
  • Conduct customer demand analysis, timetable specification, and service planning using GIS, database, and analytical software
  • Report on service specification, performance, customer satisfaction, and feedback using computer-based planning, scheduling, and statistical tools
  • Ensure availability of quality data by spatial validation, data comparison, and detailed data analyses
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., transportation planning, urban planning, or a related field)
  • Proven experience in transportation planning or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to stakeholders
  • Strong team working and problem-solving skills, with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
