Investigator Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled investigator to join our team in a six-month assignment with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating incidents and complaints to determine legislative breaches.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in conducting investigations, including interviewing techniques pertaining to legislative powers, breaches, and compliance actions. They should also possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and complaints to determine legislative breaches
  • Gather and compile evidence, preparing and assessing documentation as needed
  • Interview witnesses and take detailed statements, preparing investigation plans as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in conducting investigations, including interviewing techniques pertaining to legislative powers, breaches, and compliance actions
  • Ability to recognize and deal discreetly with confidential matters, demonstrating integrity
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
