Effective Investigation Leadership

TAFE SA's Investigations Management Unit is responsible for conducting thorough investigations into serious employee misconduct. As a key member of the team, you will oversee critical programs, functions, and services related to these investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans for investigative programs, ensuring timely and effective delivery
  • Implement robust processes and frameworks to ensure compliance with legislative requirements
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in conducting complex investigations, providing expert guidance and support
  • Provide technical insights into investigations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Develop and evaluate policies, procedures, and frameworks to enhance organisational performance and integrity
  • Design and deliver education, coaching, and mentoring programs to build awareness and capability within the organisation
  • Engage and consult with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and partnership

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Extensive experience in leading investigations into serious employee misconduct, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong knowledge of forensic and contemporary investigation techniques, as well as relevant legislative frameworks
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing organisational policies, training programs, and assurance systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resources effectively, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive, safe, and diverse work environment, promoting equality and respect for all individuals
