We're seeking talented individuals to join our Livestock Career Development Program, a 24-month program designed for top talent to gain valuable experience in the Livestock Industry.

The program will provide the skills and training needed to be a future leader or technical expert within the Livestock Industry. Participants will work in both saleyard and branch environments, being mentored and guided by experienced livestock employees and leaders, learning effective selling and relationship-building techniques.

During the program, participants will receive on-the-ground training, participate in four leadership and skill-building workshops, and have mentors assigned to provide ongoing support. They'll also have the opportunity to work with various livestock products and develop their knowledge of the industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock Industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong negotiation abilities.
  • Successful completion of Year 12.
  • A minimum of 24 months' experience in the Agricultural industry, ideally within Livestock.
  • A willingness to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the program.
  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident.
  • Vaccinated or willing to receive the Q Fever vaccination.
  • The ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and leadership potential.
  • Genuine interest and desire to work and learn about the Livestock Industry.
