Nutrien Ag Solutions is offering a unique opportunity to join our Livestock Career Development Program.

About the Program

The program is designed for talented individuals to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the Livestock activity while completing an in-house Certificate in Livestock Marketing.

You will be involved in four leadership and skill-building workshops, receive on-the-ground training, and have mentors assigned to provide ongoing support.

As part of our Livestock Career Development Program, you'll have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, being mentored and guided by our experienced livestock employees and leaders, learning effective selling and relationship building techniques.

Requirements

To be considered for the Livestock Career Development Program, you will have a strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry, excellent customer service skills, and strong negotiation abilities.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Successful completion of Year 12
  • Worked successfully for a minimum of 24 months within the Agricultural industry, ideally within Livestock
  • Be willing to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the program
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident
  • Be vaccinated or willing to receive the Q Fever vaccination
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn, strong communication, and problem-solving skills, and leadership potential
  • Genuine interest and desire to work and learn about the Livestock Industry
