At the forefront of innovation, we are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role offers a great mix of hands-on technical work and customer engagement. You'll play a key part in installing and supporting machine control systems and site solutions, including 2D/3D automation, machine payload weighing, and machine safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install mobile equipment control systems and attachments onsite and in the workshop
- Calibrate and commission mobile equipment systems and accessories
- Diagnose issues and provide technical support and troubleshooting
- Service and maintain systems to ensure peak performance
- Train customers to get the most out of their equipment

Requirements:

- A trade qualification as an Auto Electrician, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or Light Vehicle Mechanic is highly regarded
- A strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to problem-solve and adapt
- Confidence in working with electrical and hydraulic systems
- Good communication and organisation skills to engage effectively with customers and teammates
- A proactive mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and outcomes
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software
- Ability to work independently with support when you need it

Nice to Have:

- Experience with heavy equipment repairs (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic)
- Exposure to mobile plant or machine control systems
- An understanding of surveying techniques and technologies
- A keen interest in technology and innovation
