Clinical Operations Leader

The Assistant Director - Clinical Operations plays a vital role in overseeing and managing the provision of health and allied health telephony services to veterans and their families.
This involves leadership support, clinical oversight, and line management responsibilities for a team of clinicians in the Client Assist Contact Centre.
- Providing expert advice on policy, complex problem-solving, and issues management for internal and external stakeholders.
- Implementing change and managing ambiguity in the workplace through strong leadership experience.
In addition, the Assistant Director - Clinical Operations is responsible for contributing to a broader leadership team to oversee and coordinate clinical staff within a call centre environment. This includes professional development activities for clinical staff, case consultations, coordinating resources, and undertaking continuous improvement and monitoring quality assurance.
Awareness of working within a rostered 24-hour telephony environment is essential to the effectiveness of the role. The position requires strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of up to 10 clinicians and provide ongoing consultation and advice to all clinicians.
