Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Sterilisation Technician to work with us on the Central Coast. As a casual Sterilisation Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely provision of sterile medical instruments essential for patient care.

About the Role

The Sterilisation Technician will be responsible for maintaining high standards within the Sterilising Services Department by following strict guidelines, Ministry of Health directives, organisational policies, and specific procedures set by management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accurate and timely provision of sterile medical instruments.
  • Follow strict standards, Ministry of Health directives, organisational policies, and specific procedures set by management.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and deliver exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Sterilising Technology Certificate or willingness to commit and undertake an accredited Sterilising Certificate.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of Infection Control and Work Health & Safety requirements.
