Medical Equipment Specialist

This opportunity exists within our Sterilising Services Departments to work as a Sterilisation Technician. We offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where you will be involved in the provision of sterile and thermally disinfected medical and surgical equipment.
The role involves working with various shifts across 7 days, including weekdays, nights and/or weekends. This approach allows consistency, continuity of service, and increased quality control across the District.
Key Responsibilities- Providing sterile and thermally disinfected medical and surgical equipment to areas for use in patient care, in accordance with standards, guidelines, MoH directives, organisational policies and procedures.
- Working collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Maintaining high standards of Infection Control and Work Health & Safety requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge and experience of Infection Control and Work Health & Safety requirements.
