About the Job:

The banquet manager is responsible for leading a team of 25 colleagues to ensure efficient event setups and staffing. This involves managing client expectations, liaising with conference organizers, and collaborating with other departments to meet day-to-day needs and special requirements.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing team to deliver seamless event executions.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients to guarantee smooth event operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand event requirements and deliver exceptional functions.
Requirements:
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hotel Management or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years' experience in managing conference & events/banquets operations.
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol NSW Competency Card (RSA).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and training abilities.
