Library Support Specialist

About the Role
- Provide IT support and training for staff and customers, troubleshoot library technology, liaise with system suppliers and Council Information Technology staff.
- Prepare statistics as required and assist in implementation of new technology according to the Library Technology Plan and Woollahra Libraries Strategic Plan.
- Actively participate in the library customer service floor shift roster and work on the library floor to assist library customers with general requests and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Support and train staff and customers on IT systems and technologies.
- Liaise with system suppliers and Council Information Technology staff to resolve technical issues.
- Assist in implementing new technology and prepare statistical reports as required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in IT software and hardware.
