Migration Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Migration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, leading and executing end-to-end data migration projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully migrating large datasets from legacy platforms into modern systems using cloud infrastructure. They will also have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to understand and map complex data structures.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Migration Strategy: Define the overall approach, select tools and manage timelines, risks and rollback plans.
  • Prepare and Assess Data: Conduct a full inventory of legacy data, assess quality, identify transformation or archiving needs, and document source-to-target mappings.
  • Design and Build ETL Processes: Create and test ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory, incorporating cleansing and validation logic.
  • Support Testing and Cutover Activities: Perform trial and full data loads, assist in SIT/UAT, track data issues, and support cutover and go-live events.
  • Ensure Auditability and Handover: Maintain migration logs, deliver reconciliation and compliance reports, and provide handover documentation and training for ongoing data governance.
