Event Technology Specialist

As an Event Technology Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of world-class events across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain robust IT infrastructure at venues and greenfield sites.
  • Implement and support secure access control and box-office systems at venues.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for events, including weekends.
  • Coordinate with Client Services Managers to plan and execute successful events.
  • Manage logistics, equipment transport, and event setup/takedown.
  • Train and supervise casual staff, volunteers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate asset registers and update event documentation.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate bugs to the tech team.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience building relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • A solid understanding of networking principles and hardware/software maintenance.
  • A current driver's license and flexibility to travel.
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
