Project Manager Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our Melbourne-based residential builder specialising in architecturally designed luxury homes.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of projects from concept to completion, driving success through accurate cost estimation, contracts administration, and project delivery.

About the Role
  • Analyse architectural plans, specifications, and documentation to develop detailed cost estimates for high-end residential projects
  • Prepare quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labour estimates across all relevant trades
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of residential projects, ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are met
  • Develop and manage project budgets, track and control costs, and identify value engineering opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Create detailed construction programs, identifying potential delays early
  • Support procurement processes, progress claims, and cost reporting
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager, ideally with exposure to estimating and/or contract administration
  • Proven experience managing high-end residential projects from pre-construction to handover
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in project management tools preferred
