Job Opportunity:
A Civil Engineer is required to manage the delivery of civil projects in Western Australia. The successful candidate will have strong experience in road construction and Main Roads WA (MRWA) specifications.

About the Role:
The Civil Project Engineer will be responsible for project management, including planning, design, construction, and commissioning. They will work closely with contractors, reviewing pre-contracts planning, on-site project management, quality control, and contract close-out. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with safety standards and communicate with stakeholders and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Support the projects' contractors, review the pre-contracts planning, on-site project management, quality control, and works delivery and contract close-out.
  • Ensure compliance with design and safety standards, supervising project contractors, delegating tasks, and communicating with stakeholders and contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Ability to work a 12/9 FIFO roster.
  • Strong background as Civil Project Engineer delivering mining civil road/road construction packages.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical civil construction experience working with Main Roads WA (MRWA) specifications.
  • Possess the ability to safely deliver projects.
  • Possess a high level of commitment and drive for success.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and safety regulations.

Benefits:
  • FIFO roster: 12 days on, 9 days off from Perth. Location of site is Pilbara region of WA
  • Duration: To March 2026
  • 12 hour days & competitive day rate provided
