Mine Site Construction Services Pty Ltd is a leading Western Australian, privately owned civil and mining construction company with over 40 years of combined industry experience; specialising in mining services, civil engineering, earthmoving, infrastructure and quarrying services.

**The Position**:
The Civil Supervisor is responsible for providing hands on leadership and direction to the bulk earthworks operations team, ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times, including:

- Promoting a safe working environment.
- Daily Supervision of a medium-sized crew within a civil earthworks and mining environment.
- Complete daily PSI/Toolbox meetings.
- Reporting safety hazards and incidents, ensuring thorough investigation. and corrective actions being followed through.
- Fostering a safety-driven team culture to support the corporate safety systems.
- Constructing Tailings Storage Facilities.
- Bulk and Detailed earthworks.
- Solid understanding of earthmoving equipment, efficient use, and capabilities.
- Daily production tracking and reporting.
- Weekly timesheet checking and submission.
**Requirements**:

- Cert IV Frontline Leadership Training
- Formal training in safety and health is considered an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar position and successful track record managing a productive and cohesive team
- Exposure to mining environment and preferably bulk commodity or mineral sands mining, preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Well developed communication skills with the proven ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with blue and white collar stakeholders
- Proven ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives
