Lead Sourcing Expert

Planet Organic is seeking a seasoned procurement specialist to lead our global sourcing efforts. The successful candidate will oversee the full procurement cycle, from identifying and evaluating suppliers to managing freight logistics and ensuring timely stock availability.
The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of managing overseas suppliers and international freight and customs. They will also possess strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Source and manage overseas suppliers for raw inputs and packaging.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times to meet cost and inventory targets.
- Oversee shipping schedules, freight documentation, and customs processes.
- Monitor and manage landed costs and supply chain risks.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier data.
- 5+ years' experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record managing overseas suppliers and international freight and customs.
- Strong understanding of landed cost calculations and global trade terms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- High attention to detail with strong commercial acumen.
- Proficiency with online ERP or inventory systems.
