The Role

We seek a Financial Services Officer to join our team on a permanent Full-Time basis. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for various Accounts Receivable duties, including:

  • Processing AR related tasks in accordance with our cyclical calendar
  • Setting up complete and accurate debtor records
  • Providing timely and accurate accounts receivable data when requested
  • Ensuring resident and client fees and charges information is updated accurately and efficiently
  • Reconciling resident and client fees and charges, investigating and resolving any variances
  • Undertaking timely and accurate resident and client billing and refunds
  • Verifying that fees and charges align with contractual, policy, and legislative guidelines
  • Regularly monitoring the completeness and accuracy of all records and master files related to AR
  • Responding promptly to enquiries from residents, clients, facility managers, and staff
  • Maintaining awareness of relevant changes to Aged Care legislation and implementing necessary changes to procedures

This role may be suitable for you if you:

  • Have experience in the health or aged care sector (preferably)
  • Have experience in accounts receivable, debt collection, and general finance administration
  • Can deliver timely and accurate accounting services
  • Are skilled in accounting packages
  • Have expertise in a range of accounting tasks, particularly accounts receivable
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse individuals, including older people or those with disabilities
  • Hold intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Excel in providing customer service to users at all levels
  • Apreciate working in a team environment and value one-on-one interactions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold a current Working With Children Check card
  • Be up-to-date with flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Have Australian working rights
  • Pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
