Housing Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled Housing Support Professional to join our team in Horsham. This role requires providing support and guidance to young people with complex needs, helping them achieve independent living.
This position involves working closely with individuals to manage their occupancy agreements and adhere to house rules.
Additionally, we encourage applicants with knowledge of housing and welfare benefits, as well as experience relating to support work and/or working with young people at risk.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and work autonomously as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Coach young people to articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring skills for independent living.
- Ensure young people engage with services and build strong networks within the local community.
- Maintain client records detailing the young person's journey and outcomes.
- A supportive work environment with opportunities for continuing professional development.
- Induction and training prior to starting on a rota shift pattern.
- Lone shifts available with non-judgemental support during the day/evening.
- Experience relating to housing, support work, and/or working with young people at risk.
- Knowledge of statutory and voluntary resources available to young people with multiple and complex needs.
