About the Role

Young people living in residential houses in Horsham require dedicated support and care. We are seeking a Casual Residential Practitioner Active Nights to provide hands-on, challenging yet rewarding support.

  • A role with impact supporting young people living in residential houses in Horsham
  • Casual shifts available for active night roster 11.30pm – 9.00am and 7:00 am to 9:00 am.

As a Casual Active Nights Residential Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating an environment that promotes positive respect and provides care that meets a young person’s needs.

You will receive a comprehensive induction and mentoring program to support your transition into the role and ensure your success. Our program operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • 25% casual loading on top of the base hourly rate

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a compassionate and resilient individual with life experience who can provide personal care that respects the dignity and privacy of the children. You will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant qualification
  • Current driver’s license
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice
  • Passion for youth work, ideally experience in residential care
  • Great problem-solving skills and calm under pressure
