Insurance Claims & Restoration Specialist

The Insurance Claims and Restoration Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of insurance claims and restoration projects, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate insurance restoration claims (water, mould, fire, flood, storm, and make safes) with precision and attention to detail.
  • Liaise effectively with insurance companies, loss adjusters, assessors, and policyholders to resolve queries and expedite claim settlements.
  • Schedule and coordinate internal restoration and make-safe teams across multiple regions to guarantee timely project completion.
  • Maintain strict compliance with relevant standards, scopes of work, and insurer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Accurately update and maintain job files using job management systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Review site assessments, inspection reports, scopes, and variations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage job progress, budgets, materials, and subcontractors where necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Proactively address client concerns and provide exceptional customer service to foster strong relationships and repeat business.
  • Support invoicing and documentation accuracy for insurance compliance, minimizing errors and potential disputes.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in restoration, insurance building, or claims management, with a proven track record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of water/flood/fire/mould restoration workflows and best practices.
  • Familiarity with insurance claim processes and reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate multiple jobs across different locations, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity, concision, and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
  • Proficiency with job management software, with Prime Ecosystems experience being a significant advantage.
