
Compensation Specialist Lead

The role of Senior Compensation Analyst is pivotal in the development, design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs for leadership, professional, hourly, union, and out-of-state employees.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Development, design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs
- Utilizes comprehensive compensation management expertise and a deep understanding of strategic human resources principles to provide integrated management consultation and solutions
- Manages ongoing, periodic, and ad-hoc compensation projects
- Assists in the administration of executive compensation programs
- Provides education and guidance to Compensation staff members
Requirements:
- Formal Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business, or a closely related field of study
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience & Training Required: Seven years of increasingly responsible professional work experience in Compensation and/or Human Resources which includes evaluating jobs, conducting salary surveys, and administration/development of large-scale pay programs
- Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in job analysis
- Critical thinking skills to analyze complex problem situations accurately and present conclusions in clear, comprehensible style
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff
- Understanding of statistics and ability to analyze market data
- Proficiency in PC applications including Word, Access, and PowerPoint; intermediate level Excel skills
- Knowledge of HRIS systems
- Knowledge of all functional human resource areas and business operations
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws (e.g., FLSA, EEOC, ADA, etc.)
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality in working with compensation information
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
