Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Process Safety Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on, site-based/hybrid role that requires technical expertise and a desire to grow in process safety.

The successful candidate will have experience in power generation, heavy industry, or gas, and be able to confidently engage with operators and technicians, as well as present to executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Support the governance and execution of the Process Safety Management Plan.">
  • Lead and coordinate Management of Change (MOC) activities and SAP administration.">
  • Conduct incident investigations, alarm management reviews, and provide functional safety oversight.">
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure safety-critical controls are integrated into asset plans.">
  • Conduct HAZOPs and CHAZOPs for new plant and processes.">
  • Stay informed on industry advancements and apply best practices.">
  • Deliver in-house training on process safety, MOC, and technical compliance.">

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with:

  • ">
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline.">
  • Experience in utilities, power generation, or large-scale process plants or heavy industry, mining, and oil and gas.">
  • An understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements.">
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.">
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.">
  • Experience with SAP, MyHSE, and other technical systems is desirable.">
