Job Description

As a Dealer Account Executive, your main responsibilities will be to:

  1. Conduct frequent sales calls to Specialist A/C Dealers and Trade customers to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
  2. Expand CAC/RAC business within existing accounts and develop new Specialist A/C customers through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  3. Ensure customers maintain high knowledge of A/C products through training, information sheets, brochures, and POP materials to enhance their sales capabilities.
  4. Provide regular competitive information, including market trends, price movements, and competitor strategies to stay ahead in the market.
  5. Attend customer functions, meetings, and necessary events to build strong relationships and stay informed about industry developments.
  6. Manage all accounts within the territory to ensure optimal sales performance and customer satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant

As a Dealer Account Executive, the ideal candidate would have:

  1. Completed a trades or business-related course to gain a solid understanding of the industry.
  2. Extensive experience in selling products through channels/dealer networks, preferably in HVAC or related industries (e.g., building products, gas heating) to leverage their sales expertise.
  3. Proven territory and account management skills with demonstrated growth in previous roles to drive business expansion.
  4. Strong ability to identify new business opportunities to drive sales growth and revenue.
  5. Technical understanding of air conditioners and the ability to grasp technical concepts to effectively communicate with customers.
  6. Consistent track record of achieving sales targets to demonstrate their sales capabilities.
  7. Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders.
  8. Strong communication and negotiation abilities, capable of liaising with all levels of internal and external customers to build strong relationships.
