Regional Operations Director

The successful candidate will oversee the operations of all practices in their assigned region, directly working with each practice's Practice Manager. This leadership role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with other corporate department heads and the executive team to accomplish short-term goals and long-term vision.
This position requires a high level of organizational skill, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The ability to multi-task, prioritize job duties, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential for success.
- Oversee Practice Managers in assigned region.
- Ensure consistent operational policies & procedures are followed at the practice-level across the region.
- Review recruitment and staffing of employees by Practice Managers.
- Verify adequate training of staff.
- Verify performance evaluations are being properly performed by Practice Managers.
- Ensure completion and adherence to employee engagement plans.
- Assist Practice Managers on patient satisfaction and patient flow issues.
- Support Practice Managers in addressing performance and disciplinary issues.
- Engage Practice Managers in community activities and promote patient volume for clinics.
- Support provider engagement initiatives.
- Regularly visit clinics to inspect key behaviors and support the team.
- Ensure clinics are open and appropriately staffed during regular hours and special events.
- Submit IT and facilities requests and ensure clinics are aesthetically pleasing and consistent.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration and maintain a positive productive work environment.
- Motivate Practice Managers and perform project management duties.
- Consistently review clinic operations for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards within each clinic.
- Manage new location openings and create goals and timelines for project implementation.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in business or health administration or equivalent experience is required. 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in operations is also necessary. Functional experience in healthcare is preferred.
