Director of Talent Engagement - Garmann Miller/Gilbert Architects

Garmann Miller is seeking a director of Cleveland operationswith a minimum of 10 years of experience in educational, municipal, commercial, and/or industrial design to lead its future northeast Ohio location.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the office team
  • Working directly with clients
  • Coordinating project consultants
  • Maintaining schedules and budgets
  • Understanding of construction contracts

Experience/Certifications:

  • Degree in architecture, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years in professional design; experience in K-12 educational design and planning is preferred
  • Architectural registration and LEED AP preferred but not required
  • Proficient understanding in specifications
  • Well-rounded experience in all phases of design
  • Proficiency in Revit software a plus
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and building, zoning codes
  • Understanding of engineering disciplines
