Cyber Security Leader

The job involves overseeing and implementing a comprehensive information security strategy.
This leadership role is responsible for managing the Information Security program across various domains, ensuring seamless integration of frameworks and artefacts to achieve organisational goals.
The incumbent will be accountable for developing effective strategies to safeguard physical and digital assets, as well as ensuring that ICT systems are efficient, current, and properly implemented.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security policies
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organisational data
- Lead the information security team to drive cultural change and maturity
- Manage information security governance, audit plans, and lead responses to audit findings
- Monitor and report on operations, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure delivery of information security responsibilities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field and successful police check
- Valid working rights in Australia
- VPS re-employment restrictions apply for recipients of voluntary departure packages
