Security Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled security leader to join our organisation. As the head of information security, you will be responsible for protecting our organisation's information assets and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cyber Security Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy that aligns with the organisation's risk appetite and business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the security team, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their roles effectively.
  • Policies and Procedures: Review, update, and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure they are current, effective, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to the organisation's information assets, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to protect against emerging threats.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the organisation in discussions with stakeholders on security policies, risk management, and compliance.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Manage key security vendor partnerships to maximise strategic value and ensure SLA compliance.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Information Security Manager or similar.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry.
  • Experience with NIST CSF and other Cyber Security Frameworks.
  • One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO 27001 LI/LA.
