As a skilled Building Performance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with our team in providing engineering and installation solutions for our Systems team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing control programming for new and existing installations, developing design documentation, ensuring software testing meets customer specifications, and providing solutions to complex systems problems.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics principles, as well as excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. You should also possess solid communication skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement control programming for new and existing installations.
  • Develop design documentation, including functional descriptions, schedules, and schematics.
  • Ensure software testing and results meet customer specification and comply with Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Provide solutions to complex systems problems either by troubleshooting the system or advising others on how to resolve problems.
  • Work closely with project managers to focus on deliverable scope and improve project financials.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.
  • Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid understanding of effective software development methods and processes.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
