Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide expert advice on forensic engineering and related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and report on building-related matters, including preparing causation reports on defects and damages to buildings and associated structures.
  • Provide technical advice and detailed scope of works and cost estimates in accordance with Australian Standards and Building Code of Australia.
  • Deal with various stakeholders, including insured parties, general public, builders, and insurers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably structural engineering).
  • Chartered engineer (CPEng) or national engineering register (NER) qualified.
  • At least three years' experience as a civil/structural engineer.
  • Thorough knowledge of the building code of Australia and relevant Australian standards.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the insurance industry.
