We are seeking a dynamic to lead day-to-day operations and represent the brand in Victoria. The ideal candidate will manage every step of the client journey, oversee showroom operations, and support production logistics.

The Melbourne Loft operates by appointment only, allowing for a personalised and elevated experience. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Melbourne showroom
  • Deliver a warm, tailored client experience from initial consultation to final fitting
  • Manage client orders, fittings, and alterations with precision and care
  • Liaise with production teams and factories to ensure timely fulfilment of made-to-measure orders
  • Track customer orders and communicate progress clearly and proactively
  • Strengthen the presence in the Melbourne market through partnerships, events, and local engagement
  • Support PR and marketing initiatives to elevate brand visibility

A confident and personable leader with experience in retail, tailoring, or fashion design is required. This role combines customer experience, creative input, and business skills within a growing Australian tailoring house with a unique point of view.

To excel in this position, you should possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Showroom Operations: Oversee daily operations, including managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
  • Client Experience: Deliver a tailored client experience, from initial consultation to final fitting, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Order Fulfilment: Manage client orders, fittings, and alterations, working closely with production teams and factories to ensure timely delivery.
  • Marketing and Engagement: Support PR and marketing initiatives, strengthen brand visibility, and engage with local communities to build relationships and drive sales.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in retail, tailoring, or fashion design.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, keen eye for detail.
  • Educational Background: Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
