Nurse Practitioner - Oncology Specialist

Improve patient care in a purpose-built cancer centre in Armidale.

This is a highly autonomous, clinically focused position offering the opportunity to lead within your specialty while supporting the wider team and driving quality outcomes for oncology and haematology patients.

  • Deliver advanced and extended nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment as defined by the agreed scope of practice.
  • Conduct complex patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of oncology-related health concerns.

As a dynamic, skilled Nurse Practitioner with advanced oncology experience, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care.

  • Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in oncology care.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • A respectful, emotionally intelligent approach to patient and team interactions.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications and endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Demonstrated experience and clinical capability in oncology.
  • Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
