Support Elderly Individuals

Experienced Home Care Support Worker - Cessnock & Surrounds. We invite you to join our team and support elderly customers (65+) to live independently at home in various suburbs.

Key Requirements
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence with a reliable vehicle is required for this role.
  • At least three months of industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting is essential.
  • Flexibility to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday, including two weekends per month, is necessary.
  • Travel requirements include training sessions, and commitment to the Brilliant @ Basics Training program when starting this role.
  • This position is not suitable for those seeking Disability or facility/nursing home work roles.
Job Details
  • Open to Experienced candidates only.
  • Permanent Part-Time or Casual contracts are available.
  • Contract hours: 20-40 hours per fortnight + flexible extra hours.
  • Hourly rate: $34.16 per hour + 12% superannuation + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time.
Responsibilities
  • Domestic assistance includes cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Personal care services encompass showering, toileting, medication assistance, and social support like transportation for clients.
  • Be a friendly face and contribute to brightening someone's day.
