About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead a complex, multi-country payroll project for a leading organization. This role will require a deep understanding of payroll systems, processes, and regulations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Expertise
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of payroll systems, processes, and regulations across multiple countries
    • Provide expert guidance on payroll data migration, system configuration, and testing
    • Collaborate with payroll subject matter experts to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, HR leaders, and IT stakeholders
    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders at all levels
    • Manage expectations and resolve conflicts to ensure project success
  • RFP and Vendor Selection
    • Develop and manage RFP processes for payroll system selection
    • Evaluate vendor proposals and select the best-fit solution based on technical capabilities, cost, and alignment with business requirements
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in HCM payroll projects, preferably in a multi-country environment
  • Deep understanding of HCM payroll systems, processes, and regulations
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with RFP processes and vendor selection
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Requirements
  • Performed an RFP (preferably payroll)
  • Understands testing requirements
  • Specific Payroll Projects you have managed
  • Senior Project Management experience
  • Experience with the C-suite
  • Finance / budget experience
  • APAC Experience on a Payroll project (Desirable)
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
  • Experience in a consulting or professional services environment
